Before joining Dentistry for Children in the summer of 2018, Steve was in private practice in Albany, GA for 34 years. He holds a B.A. in chemistry (1976) from Emory University and his D.D.S. (1980) degree from Emory University, too. Steve completed his residency at Emory University and at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in 1982 in pediatric dentistry.
Steve was editor and president of the Southwest District Dental Association. He was a trustee for the Georgia Dental Association for six years and is an Honorable Fellow of the Georgia Dental Association. Steve was awarded the “Service to Mankind” award by the Artesian City Sertoma Club in Albany, and has been a member of the Rotary Club for the last ten years.
Steve and his wife, Milli, have been married for 38 years. They have three children and three grandchildren. Steve enjoys fishing, photography, gardening and cooking.
